• • 2018 All Classes worldwide reunion in Taipei – march 2018
For the second time, Lloyd Coleman ’73 organized a very successful “Back to Taiwan Reunion” for more than 60 alumni, family, and friends. Alumni from the Classes of 1966 to 2008 arrived from near and far to share stories and memories from different time periods of the school’s history. This highly anticipated trip of a lifetime included accommodation at the iconic Grand Hotel, meals at Din Tai Fung, outings to night markets, and much more. Activities during the week brought alumni to places old and new, including the National Palace Museum, Hsi Men Ding, Taipei 101, Wellington Heights, the Grass Mountain Teen Club, and the former Shilin campus to see the Senior Island Pagoda. The highlight of the trip was the TAS Legacy Day on campus. Alumni had the opportunity to attend a special presentation, a unique seminar discussion with long-time teacher Mr. Richard Arnold, school tours with current students, a music performance, and shopping at the Tiger Store. Everyone was impressed by the facilities and the programs offered today. More than 30 alumni attending the University of Southern California enjoyed a wonderful dinner sharing their college experiences. Thank you to Sara Chen ’14 and Annie Mao ’14 for their assistance planning this event and to Brandon Le ’15 for taking photos.
Class of 1992 25-year reunion – December 2017
Organized by Betty Chang and Judy Gee with several volunteers, more than 40 alumni attended the celebrations in Taipei with a casual lunch at TAS and a festive dinner arranged by David Ko ’92 at his family’s restaurant Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.
This Class invited all 80s alumni to join their reunion. Thank you to Vera Wu for organizing the event!

Hosted at one of the new craft beer bars in Taipei, Taihu Brewing’s new taproom in downtown Taipei offered a wide variety of locally brewed craft beers. Co-founders Duke Wu ’98 and Han Lin ’97 generously sponsored prizes.
