For years Talin Spring designed accessories and followed manufacturing all around the world for various French brands. In 2006 she moved with her family from Paris to Minneapolis and fell in love with locally made American products. Spring Finn & Co is an opening collection of American made leather bags and accessories inspired by trades and, of course, America. World traveler, from a family of leather lovers and shoe/slipper designers, over the years Talin gathered vintage tradesman bags in France, the US and Italy with an “esprit d’archive” (archival spirit)…as a Turkish saying goes “ keep the hay, the moment will come”… in 2011 she decided to collaborate with local American artisans to revive some of the classic forms which were originally invented to serve arcane trades.
The combination of experienced craftsmanship with the finest materials created bags of timeless simplicity. Using top grain American leathers, beautiful hand stitching and a minimalist approach, Spring Finn & Co distills classic designs down to their essence – no frills and no pretension, just purposeful chic.
