We forget when our world view narrows. As long as we stay in our own personal worlds, we are usually forgetful. In times when the confines of our limited personal perspectives are shattered, however, we are forced to look at the bigger picture.

I don’t know about you, but I do not see this as a bad thing. Again, I am in no way calling for a celebration of crisis and disaster. I am advocating for allowing the ways of God to inform daily living more often than not.
Perhaps the best way to honor the sacrifices made by those who put others ahead of self is to do the same. Perhaps the better way to live in the earthly kingdom is to actually care tion, visit the church website at http:// epiphanytallassee.org/

FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
“We are OPEN and everyone is WELCOME! Come worship with us in person Sunday mornings at 8:50 a.m. (contemporary) or 11 a.m. (traditional). Sunday School for all ages is offered Sunday mornings at 10 a.m., and a nursery is available for infants. CHILDREN & YOUTH: meet about neighbor. I believe Jesus had something to say about that. We can choose to remember the wrongs done to us and others. We can choose to remember the perpetrators of wrongdoing. We can choose to remain mired in the hurt inflicted by self and / or others. We all know where those choices lead.
On the other hand, we can choose to remember the rights. We can choose to remember the witnesses of God’s good news. We can choose to remember that God has the capacity and desire to bring good out of all things. We all know where those choices lead.
What will we choose?
Rev. Yarboro is the Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Wetumpka.
