Annual targets look for growth
International air traffic unchanged in January-February:
Helsinki's objective in 2010 is an increase of two per cent in both foreigners' and domestic nights. The target for the average length of stay is 1.80 nights. Among foreign visitors the target is 2.05 nights and among domestic visitors 1.50 nights. In the spring EasyJet and Norwegian Airlines are opening new routes to Helsinki, which will increase route capacity and bring broader visibility to Helsinki. Campaigns designed to support these new connections will play a significant role in raising Helsinki's profile. Kari Halonen Marketing Director
