Room occupancy rates and price of bednights ** decreased In March 413 accommodation establishments offered accommodation services for tourists; 7 173 rooms and 14 441 beds were available for guests. The room occupancy rate was 30%, 12% lower than in March of the previous year. The average cost of a bednight in an accommodation establishment was 538 kroons, which is 6 kroons less expensive compared to March 2008.
Decline in passengers in air and sea travel The number of passengers at Tallinn Airport was 113 627, down 25% compared with March the year before. The number of passengers passing through the Port of Tallinn totaled 477 894, down by 4% compared with March last year.
