CASA ENRIQUE Title: Casa de Enrique function: residential location: dddddddddddd contribudion: model | renderings | drawings year: 2018

enrique’s house is a space designed to admire the landscape in a vertical way. Being a humid climate it has a great visual towards the south of the land, creating great openings of direct light that makes it cosy in its interior. The main entrance contains a pronounced volume highlighting the staircase in an

imposing way where the double height hall is located creating a sensation of space. The kitchen and the dining room contain an open concept, so that there is a better balance between the horizontal space and the vertical space generated in the hall. Finally the living room is located in a lower level creating a semi-

private space, taking advantage of the level of the land generating a generous height.

The main equipment is the library that at the same time becomes the top of the multi-age park, connected by a walkable roof that has terraces and green areas totally open and that generates a visual towards the city and towards the project in general providing an urban landscape as it is located in the area with the highest altitude of the project. The library is composed of two floors; the first floor has a lobby, reception, large children’s area, general room, with computer room, service area that includes batteries of bathrooms and cafeteria, the latter connects with the first terrace area of

the library and the passable roof, and a second floor in which is the area of administration, group rooms, general room. Inside the rooms generate them highlight two natural wooded elements that encourage healthy reading generating relationship with reading, the acquisition of new knowledge and nature, which stand out from the roof, the same language handles the formation of groups the homes and the management of natural lighting that facilitates reading and learning. In the areas outside the library

there are small squares that frame the accessibility where leisure and learning activities can be developed and the language is mimicked to facilitate the reading of the space as a transition between the house and the facilities that complement it.

The linear park houses various sports and recreational facilities, which are articulated through a yellow path, which works as a system that cushions the floods that occur there because it is an area of high risk of flooding. Through inclinations and permeabilities,

the visual is maintained so that these openings are controlled through floodgates that are key points when overflows occur; inside the route there are spaces that become cafeterias and restaurants.
