Tamer Sanioura Teacher: Mark Will Continuing Digital Photography Line 2 Six Of The Best
Image 1: Freeze the moment (fast shutter speed) Metadata Aperture: f/8.0 Shutter Speed: 1/4000 ISO: 400 Histogram:
Analysis: The image was taken at Lake Tuggeranong of my classmate jumping of a long stone threshold next to the lake. Image was taken on a very high shutter speed to present a great shot and stop my classmate while he is jumping. I’ve cropped the image because there was a non-important extra area which takes off the eyes of the target. And the image was dark and not taken perfectly so I changed the levels to make it brighter and better. The image shows a great background of the lake, trees and mountains‌etc. and the image shows the target (which is my classmate jumping) in the middle of the image and you can see his shadow on the floor. Image was taken in a great sunny bright day. Overall, the image was taken to produce a great fast shutter speed shot (or to freeze the moment), I know the image was not taken perfectly but I did my best to fix it.

Image 2: show the motion (slow shutter speed) Metadata: Aperture: f/5.6 Shutter speed: 1/125 ISO: 200
Histogram:
Analysis: Image was taken at Lake Tuggeranong College of a magpie flying. Image was taken on a low shutter speed (1/125) to show the motion while the magpie is flying. I’ve cropped the image because there was extra area which is no need for it. And I’ve changed the original image into a black and white image because the magpie is black and white so I thought it would be a better image if the background was black and white as well. The motion is not shown so much, so you can see the magpies face and body but you can see the motion on its wings and legs. And you can see motion on the background as well because I was facing the magpie while it was flying. Overall, image was taken to show a perfect slow shutter speed shot after editing of a magpie flying.

Image 3: High key (controlled over-exposure) Metadata: Aperture: f/2.2 Shutter speed: 1/35 ISO: 80
Histogram:
Analysis: The image was taken in Lake Tuggeranong College in the studio of pink and white coloured marshmallows in 3 different types of glasses. Image is controlled over-exposure to show a perfect high key image as you can see in the histogram. The shot was taken indoor in high light and the cameras ISO was decreased to 80. The images background is completely perfect white as you can’t even know where the start and the end of the image is. And it’s a non-edited image. Overall, the image was taken to show a perfect high key shot with a perfect white background.
Image 4: Low key (controlled under-exposure) Metadata: Aperture: f/2.2 Shutter speed: 1/120 ISO: 40 Histogram:
Analysis: The image was taken at my home of a rolled magazine pointing at a wooden stick. Taking the image through a rolled magazine made the image darker. Image is controlled under-exposure after editing the levels. I’ve cropped the image because there was an extra completely black area which is not important. The shot was taken outdoors in a bright day as you can see light comes in the rolled magazine to make a good looking image with a small slot at the end. Overall, the image was taken to show a great low key (controlled under-exposure) image after editing.

Image 5: Close up (shallow depth of field) Metadata: Aperture: f/5.6 Shutter speed: 1/125 ISO: 100 Histogram:
Analysis: The image was taken at Lake Tuggeranong College of a lock on a green door. Image is a close-up shot which shows a great shallow depth of field on the right of the image. Image has been shot from a great position to focus on the lock. You can still see a bit of the unfocused area. Overall, image was taken to show a great close-up shot (shallow depth of field).
Image 6: Wide angle (deep depth of field) Metadata Aperture: f/2.2 Shutter speed: 1/2500 ISO: 32 Histogram:
Analysis: Image was taken at Lake Tuggeranong of two pigeons flying over the lake with a great background of the lake and mountains and trees. The image was taken with my IPhone (IOS) which is not perfect for photographs so I edited the image to make it a bit brighter because it was a bit dark. The image was taken to show a great deep depth of field shot but it also got a fast shutter speed which is 1/2500 to freeze the moment when the pigeons were flying over the lake. Overall, the image was taken to show a great wide angle (deep depth of field shot).
