Welcome to this takeover issue of Anointed Author Magazine. It has been an honor to work with Robin M. Sample for the last few years of her publishing journey. Robin and I met a few years ago when she allowed me to coach her for her first book, “When I Stopped Being Angry With God.” Since meeting Robin, I have seen her grow in business and ministry, and she has exploded across international waters. She’s appeared in the She Wins Documentary, created Cambridge-based Lupus Walk, and launched “Peace By Pieces,” a non-profit organization. To say I’m proud of her is an understatement. In this issue, meet the authors of the national bestselling anthology, “I Made It To The Other Side Of Through!"

Breaking to Breaking to the other side the other side of pain to of pain to purpose! purpose!
The motivation behind the release of my book, "I Made It To The Other Side Of Through," is the battle I won against COVID-19 in 2020 and 2021. Initially, I believed that period of my life to be a physical battle; however, during my fivemonth and three-day period of quarantine, I learned that the battle wasn't physical at all; it was spiritual I truly believe that God used that season of my life to get my attention by forcing me into a space where I had no choice other than to hear Him, focus on Him, and depend on Him. I had been doing things my own way for so long, and eventually, God grew tired of watching me make a disaster of my life, so He stopped me dead in my tracks, and although that was one of the most painful seasons of my life, I am so grateful for it, as it was truly necessary
What do you hope people will learn from readingyourbook?
It is my hope that everyone who reads my book will be inspired to stand firm and stand strong, trusting good as they weather every test, trial and/or storm they may face, knowing that although there may be hurt, pain, loss and a lot of tears as they navigate their way through their season of testing, it is all necessary, and there is a purpose in their pain. I also want readers to come to learn that God never does anything without reason or purpose, and nothing catches Him by surprise; therefore, anything He brings them to, He will surely bring them through
What did YOU learn while writing your book? What wasthehardestpartofwritingyourbook?
I learned so much about myself and God as I was writing my book. I thought I had learned all there was to learn about myself and how God works; however, after going through that extremely difficult season, I realized that I didn't know myself at all, and I definitely didn't know all I needed to know about God and how much He truly loves me and cares about what happens to me
The hardest thing about writing my book was going back and sifting through all of the hurt and pain that I endured when I was going through my storm. Not only did I have to recall events that caused me to experience hurt and pain all over again, but I had to be completely honest and transparent with myself and also with God. It felt as if someone had turned off all of the lights and stripped me of my covers I had nowhere to hide and nowhere to run I was faceto-face with the memories of what almost completely broke me, and just as I was about to make the decision not to write the book because it was so painful, I realized that what didn't break me had actually built me, and I had to proceed with writing the book, because someone was on the brink of giving up, and I needed to share my story and my testimony because it could be that which could cause that one person not to give up.

Taking what I've journaled over the years takes courage because you're taking your most inner secrets and writing it out for the world to see.

I hope that people will learn that it doesn't matter where you start, who does not support you or what you don't have If you first put the Lord as the head in your life, even if you stray off course God will provide all that you need God will place strangers in your life to teach you, open doors and elevate you in due time
What did YOU learn while writing your book? What was the hardest part of writingyourbook?

What was the hardest part of writingyourbook?
The hardest part of writing my book was overthinking Specifically, wondering what people would think of me disclosing my vulnerabilities What help me to get past this was that I knew my story would help someone who may need to be encouraged

I have spent over 18 years in the healthcare field, loving and caring for others. As a young child, I have always loved taking care of others. I have also had the pleasure of being a co-author in The Boss Babes Who Pray Vol.3, Exposing the Lies of the Enemy, Purpose in My Pain, and Stronger than the Storm. I have been a speaker at the Stronger than the Storm Revival and the She Wins Retreat 2022. I am blessed beyond measure, and I am loving the woman that I am becoming. When you allow GOD to have his way in your life, he will change your whole perspective on life and begin to change you from the inside out. I just had to surrender and let him in.
TellUsAboutYourChapter
Looking For You is how, in the midst of the journey in life and through all that I endured and having a big heart, I was looking for GOD in all of this. So much about the knife in my back but more about who was holding the knife. It wasn't. I didn't realize that he was always there and that GOD loved me through it all. I learned the gift and the power of Forgiveness. For every person and all that I have endured and overcome, it was necessary. I knew that I would always win because I kept my heart pure with pure intentions, and I didn't become the very people who hurt me. I have no regrets, just lessons. My greatest test was how I handled those who mishandled me.
Whydidyoujointhisproject?
What do you hope people will learn from readingyourchapter?
I decided to join this project because I knew that there was someone out there who was going through something similar and wondering if it would ever end Will God ever come see about you? To continue to keep their hearts pure and with pure intentions. The pureness of your heart and the love that flows from it wasn't just for the people you have already encountered but for those you haven't met yet. Forgiveness isn't about them; it's for you and sets you free.
What did YOU learn while writing your book? What was the hardest part of writing your book?
That GOD was there with me all along. He never left me the importance of forgiving and releasing the person of the offense Sometimes, the people who mishandle you will be the ones you will have to help. Not to take the heart that GOD gave me, nor my GOD-given talents and gifts for granted
Whatwasthehardestpartofwritingyourbook?
The hardest part of writing the book was going back down memory lane I love people and if I love you and I'm not only showing you that I love you and then they just mishandle you and treat you like your nothing.

After enduring numerous years of silence, I sensed an undeniable calling to share my personal narrative I firmly believe in the profound significance of inspiring those who find themselves amid trying circumstances where hope seems to fade away Furthermore, my story serves as an extraordinary testament to the boundless power of faith and the limitless capabilities of God
What do you hope people will learn from readingyourchapter?
Within the pages of my compelling chapter, "By Faith, I Understand," I share the incredible story of how God graced me with miraculous healing. Despite the passage of time, I found myself confronted with recurring symptoms that cast a shadow of uncertainty over my life. However, the divine revelation of God's healing power renewed my faith and fortified it with an even greater conviction.
It is my sincerest hope and fervent prayer that as my readers engage with my story, they will be reminded of and introduced to God's profound power and undeniable reality I implore you to trust God in every circumstance and refuse to surrender, no matter how daunting the challenges may seem Remember, when God orchestrates the events of your life, hold steadfast to your belief in His faithfulness
Whatwasthehardestpartofwritingyourbook?
Through the process of writing my chapter, I gained a profound understanding of the value of authenticity and staying true to myself I learned that every trial I encounter carries the potential to transform into a powerful testimony, capable of igniting hope and fostering healing in the lives of others However, I also confronted a significant challenge along the way. Striking the right balance between revealing my vulnerabilities and sharing the greatness of God proved to be a delicate task. I had to navigate the fine line of disclosing enough to showcase the transformative power of faith, all while overcoming any apprehension of being judged based on the circumstances from which I sought healing.

My chapter tapped into some main points in my life that should of broke me but didn’t. That was until Covid. Covid is what gave me the push to make it to the other side of through. Whydidyoujointhisproject?
I joined this project because I had just lost a piece of my heart when Robin asked me. My godmother, Elva Acree, died the day before, and my godmother always believed in me. The final confirmation to saying yes to the book was the first book meeting was on my late aunt Odella Thomas’ birthday. Aunt Della was another strong woman who always told me I could do anything I wanted. So, it felt like it was for me to tell my story.
WhatdidYOUlearnwhilewritingyourbook?
I learned that life here on earth is taken for granted. Everything I went through to make it to today, I had to go through to be who I am. I didn’t understand it while going through it, but it was a big sigh of relief once I finally opened up.
Whatwasthehardestpartofwritingyourbook?
The hardest part of writing my chapter in the book was summarizing what should have broken me but didn’t. There was so much more to it, but I had to cover the basics in order to keep my chapter in line.
What do you hope people will learn from readingyourchapter?
I hope that people will learn that no matter what you are going through, there is hope on the other side. You have to want it bad enough and find the positive in every situation.

Whydidyoujointhisproject?

Regardless of any obstacles we face, we must know when enough is enough
What did YOU learn while writing your book? What was the hardest partofwritingyourbook?
I learned that I can make it. With God, all things are possible. There is nothing too hard for Him. What was hard for me was looking for support from people who had no desire to support me. But all I had to do was be happy for me and connect with the sisters He connected me with through this project.

In my chapter, You've Made It in the Middle of It, I tell my story of how I lost my daughter suddenly two years ago I hope to help others on a grief journey to understand that each journey is different Even when you lose your faith in God, He never leaves you Every day, you make it in the middle by breathing and moving one moment at a time, one day at a time
Whydidyoujointhisproject?
I joined this project because we often hear triumphant stories about how people go through difficult times in their lives and the victory of overcoming them. I wanted to encourage people to understand that you are making it while you are still in the middle of it. We do make it to the other side by the determination we have by not quitting and giving up.
What do you hope people will learn from readingyourchapter?
I hope people will learn from reading my chapter that as painful as it is to go through a grief journey, there is no particular time that it will end The journey is personal, and however you get through it, it is your own Faith, self-care, and having the right people around are so essential and needed to help you. Also, find a scripture to meditate on. My favorite scripture is Isaiah 40:31 (ERV), "Those who trust in the Lord will become strong again. They will be like eagles that grow new feathers. They will run and not get weak. They will walk and not get tired."

My chapter describes the ordeal of learning that my youngest son, Immanuel, was diagnosed with a neurological disorder, which was initially unexpected and devastating. But God! Through the trial and test - we were able to make it to the other side of through! Whydidyoujointhisproject?
I was asked to join this project by the Visionary Author, Robin Sample, and I immediately said, "yes!" I consider it an honor to be a part of this anthology and blessed to work with my remarkable sister co-authors, as well, Dr Tamika Hall The title, "I Made It To the Other Side of Through," is profound in and of itself, as it sums up how only through the grace of God, myself and my fellow co-authors were able to overcome the challenges that happened in our lives
What do you hope people will learn from readingyourchapter?
Having faith in God during challenging times - as parenting can sometimes be - can allow you to experience peace when we seek God's presence, which is always there. Psalms 46:1-3 says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah!" Even when difficult times happen in the middle of the parenting chaos, it's important to take a moment to breathe, and know you are not alone and that God is with you.
What was the hardest part of writing your chapter?
From writing my book, I learned that in demonstrating my faith in God, my son witnessed this, and his faith in God began to grow as well. Speaking the Word over my son's life, praying together, and trusting God for his healing Together, we experienced miracles at every turn throughout this journey. The hardest part of writing this book was finding the right words to articulate what I was feeling The emotions began to resurface and at times it became overwhelming.

What do you hope people will learn fromreadingyourchapter?
I hope people are able to see that perseverance and consistency work. Everyone has a story; how you tell it can change a life- even if it’s your own! I needed to tell my story to heal and move on. I wanted to bring something different to the internship program at school by thinking out of the box. I was able to write a story and connect it to leadership. In this abbreviation of the book, I connected my life experiences to the grace and favor I’ve been given over and over. Despite the troubles, trials, and tribulations, I want people to know that pressing on is worth the try. I could have been anything in life: a prostitute, drug addict, or inmate. Instead, I’ve used my experiences to create opportunities for others to work through their issues.
What did YOU learn while writing your book? What was the hardest part of writing your chapter?
Writing is always cathartic and thoughtprovoking. This writing project helped me reflect on how my spiritual beliefs have been molded over time. Whydidyoujointhisproject?
I joined this project because who can say no to God or a Tamika Ink project? It's a no-brainer! God always releases something major in the earth whenever Dr Hall is behind the scenes. Now, if you ask me why I chose this angle to write about, I'd have to say I got tired of hiding the imperfections of singlehood, of the "walk" with Christ alone and, ultimately, me. I felt if I'm going through this, then others are too, and they need to know God is a keeper, when you feel like you're walking alone.
What do you hope people will learn from readingyourchapter?
I want the readers to be encouraged Falling in your walk with God is inevitable in your growth and development in Christ Don't let your "miss takes" (mistakes) stop you from seeking God and His love for you. Sometimes, we keep falling for the same old tricks sent to sabotage us in our walk, destiny, and assignments. However, what the enemy wants to use to destroy us, God uses to test our faith and endurance with Him. So, get back up again, re-take your test, and keep running your race. Don't wallow where you stumbled because the Just Ones Get UP! The Bible tells us that God can keep us from falling and to present us before His glorious presence without fault and with exceeding joy, so extend yourself that same grace, not for an excuse but for strength.
What did YOU learn while writing your book?
What was the hardest part of writing your chapter?
I actually didn't learn this until after I wrote the chapter, but I realized that I had declared over myself that I was a "fall baby." You'll understand this analogy a little better when you read my chapter. I was born in October, so I'm a fall baby, but what I was doing was manifesting the declaration of my falling and failing repeatedly. When I realized this, I initially thought, “OMG, what have I done?” But now I embrace the declaration as a positive thing. Now that I've fallen in some areas and know how to get back up and recover, I can help others recover in those same areas. The hardest part of writing this go around was figuring out what area of my testimony I should hone in on. I didn't want to discuss something I'd already discussed before, but I recognize my testimony is my testimony, and how I share my experience is up to me as God leads
