TAMPA PREP IN THE COMMUNITY!
Upper School Students in Tampa Prep’s Cass Key Club kept very busy over break, joining Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful one chilly morning to help clean up Cypress Point Park.
THIS MONTH AT TAMPA PREP
Tampa Bay Watch 8th grade science students went on a field trip to Tampa Bay Watch to analyze the water quality of the Hillsborough River using physical, chemical and biological tests. This trip is the culmination of their semester spent studying and evaluating the health of bodies of water in Tampa Bay, which included making hypotheses, gathering and analyzing data, collaborating with peers, and communicating their findings. Boston Trip The Class of 2029 had an incredible class trip to Boston! From Lexington and Concord, Salem, Paul Revere's house, Walden Pond and so much more, they loved soaking up the history (and the chilly weather). Art Youth Council Congratulations to seniors Madison D.' 25 and Gabe F. '25, who were chosen and are currently serving on the Tampa Museum of Art's Youth Council! Meacham Urban Farm Upper School Health Classes spent the period visiting Meacham Urban Farm to learn about the health of a cammunity and the impact of urban renewal.
