Stop by and ask whatever questions you have about getting registered to vote, and we will do our best to get you ready to cast an informed ballot! (it's not as boring as it sounds, we promise).

The Jaguar Involvement Fair is a time for you to showcase your student organization by talking to new and returning students. A personalized card will be created for all organizations and students will be encouraged to talk to a least 6 student organizations and receive a stamp to get a prize!

Come join us for this workshop on paying for college. We will look at where to find scholarships, writing the best scholarship essay, and much more! We will be serving lunch. . January 24 11am to 12pm 143 Sci Tech
Credit Card Workshop
What are the effects of using a credit card? How can you use it to your advantage and what are some ways it can hurt you? We are serving dinner. January 26 5pm to 6pm 143 Sci Tech
Looking for a campus job or internship?
Is your student looking for a job or internship? Look no further! The Office of Family Engagement has you covered. Just head over to Handshake, our online system. On Handshake, your student will find many opportunities including postings, career events, work study opportunities, and more.
To begin, have your student go to Handshake and log into JagWire with their credentials. For more information or a quick guide on how to log into Handshake, please click here.
Please note that your student will be sent a verification to their University email, and this gets caught in spam sometimes. Have them check that folder to be able to verify.
Stalking Awareness
January is stalking awareness month. Join the Office of Victim Services to learn more about what exactly stalking is and how to determine whether something is considered stalking or not
Clifton Strengths Clifton Strengths
Clifton Strengths Finder is an assessment that provides results of your top strengths! Here at A&MSA we have training Strengths Coaches, are looking for Strengths Champions, and want to focus on utilizing strengths to your advantage over focusing on weaknesses. All first year freshment take this assessment and other students have an opportunity to based on their university engagements.
Are you interested in getting your top 5 strengths as a parent or family member?
If so, review the Clifton Strengths site and send an interest email to family@tamusa.edu. You may also take the assessment directly from the website.
Help us help you cultivate your best self, relate to your student, family members, and other contacts in a more productive way. Remember, we love your students but you are just as important to us!

Safe Space Workshop
Rainbow P.A.W.S. (Pride at Work and School) is hosting a Safe Space training workshops in January. The workshop is two hours long and features a Q&A at the end. This will be hosted oncampus.
Through education and advocacy, the Safe Space program seeks to make Texas A&M University-San Antonio a more welcoming, safe, and inclusive campus for LGBTQ+ individuals, a term that includes but is not limited to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer individuals.
Safe Space workshops prepare members of the University community to support and advocate for those who identify as LGBTQ+.
Safe Spaces are people, not places. Through this training, you will become a Safe Space for our LGBTQ+ students, staff, and faculty.
Once the workshop has been completed, you will receive a Safe Space sticker, which you can display to signal your status as an advocate.

A.I.M.M. & the Coalition In Collaboration With
Come out and meet with local businesses and experts regarding how to dress professionally. We will also have tables where you can get a micro-resume review, work on your elevator pitch, and experience a student lead runway professional attire fashion show. We will also have food, a photobooth, a barber on site cutting hair, stylists, and make-up artists to talk to about your professional look.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS
Seven A&M-San Antonio faculty and staff members collaborated to share their expertise on ways students can enhance their overall well-being. This article provides an overview of eight wellness domains and includes practical tips individuals can implement to maximize well-being in each respective domain. Clarity Child Guidance Center is a not-for-profit solely dedicated to mental health care for children 3-17. They provide the following services as well as free screening and financial aid:

Alison Packard is a special needs planning attorney with the Packard Law Firm in San Antonio. Her practice focuses on estate planning (including special needs trusts), guardianship, alternatives to guardianship, general probate work, and government benefits eligibility.
Alison’s passion for her practice comes from her personal life as the mother to a beautiful 28-year-old daughter with significant special needs. Alison knows what it means to fight for a child with disabilities. She understands parents' worries as they plan for children who always need resources, support, and services. Alison finds joy in helping others on this journey.
