MAKE AN IMPACT
A graduate degree is an investment in your future that sets you on a path to success. Individuals with advanced degrees receive promotions more quickly and can earn $1 million more over their lifetimes than their colleagues without advanced degrees.
With more than 50 graduate programs and certificates in diverse fields, including programs like marine science, art, nursing, and education, our community of scholars prides itself on small classes taught by faculty connected in their fields and invested in student success. We offer graduate programs online and in-person to meet your needs.
Our campus rests on its own island at the heart of the Texas Gulf Coast. We offer coastal living and learning with abundant sunshine, palm trees, and gulf breezes. Surrounded by the Oso and Corpus Christi Bays, we are minutes from both the picturesque beaches of Padre Island and bustling downtown Corpus Christi. If you enjoy year-round sunshine, surfing, kayaking, and fishing, the Island University will be your own paradise.
GROW RESOURCES
As part of the College of Graduate Studies, the Graduate Resource and Opportunity Workspace (GROW) offers graduate students an exclusive space and variety of resources tailored specifically to their academic needs and professional development. GROW provides professional workshops, student support events, networking activities, and community service opportunities. Events include resume building workshops, dissertation/thesis workshops, and professional headshot photography sessions.
CASA WRITING CENTER
The Center for Academic Student Achievement (CASA) Writing Center assists students, online and on campus, by providing consistent, knowledgeable, and flexible support. Graduate students may receive up to three weekly one-hour sessions at the Writing Center and can request weekly standing appointments for an entire semester. These sessions are intended to provide ongoing, in-depth assistance to students working on extended writing projects.
I-CREATE LAB & MAKERSPACE
TAMU-CC is a creatively rich and diverse community of faculty, staff, and students dedicated to academics, and expression. One way that the university promotes such a creative and imaginative environment is through the I-Create Lab & Makerspace. This area, located in the Mary & Jeff Bell Library, has many creative tools for the campus community: 3D printers, virtual reality equipment, embroidery machines, and much more. Students are encouraged to design, build, or invent whatever they can imagine.
