Employee Betterment Program: Covers 100% of current resident tuition costs for up to 18 credit hours per fiscal year. Must be in budgeted regular status for three months prior to the start of classes. Special rules for separation.

TAMUS Doctoral Tuition Program: Covers 100% of tuition costs for a doctoral program at any A&M University. Funding Eligibility is limited to 6 years.

Public Forgiveness Loan: Forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments and work in a full-time position.

Dorothy Yeater Book Scholarship: Benefits eligible staff enrolled in the Employee Betterment Program can apply for the book scholarship. Must be used at University Bookstore.

Save for Summer Program

• Program for employees working in less than 12-month annual work period

• Allows to specify a certain amount withheldfrom net pay each monthly payday in order to receive a paycheck duringthe summer months

• Amount withheld from net pay is after all deductions

• Forms required to enroll, change, cancel, or update. Email payroll@tamucc.edu for assistance.

Internal Communication Platform

Policy Update

In order to improve collaboration and Communication, we have removed the 30-day limit on chat retention in Teams.

This means that chats will no longer be deleted after 30 days.

Teams/Group Creation

TAMU-CC IT is exploring the feature that allows any user with TAMU-CC credentials to create and manage their own team group.

This is a great productivity tool that can also help students collaborate more easily on group projects.

With hackers become more sophisticated, combined with the fact that we have been hit with significant attacks recently, we will be launching a simulated phishing tool later this fall to train and protect students and employees.
