To confirm eligibility for the Ready to Work program, we need to collect the documents below to complete your certification.
What Needs to be Certified Document for Certification
Eligible to work in the U.S.
• U.S. Passport / U.S. Passport Card
• Social Security Card OR Birth Certificate WITH a VALID Driver’s License or Texas ID
Resident of the City of San Antonio
*** ”Live With” Attestation is for those whose address on their ID’s do not match the following documents.***
• Current Lease
• Mortgage Statement
• Utility Bill
***“Live With” Attestation*** Proof of Household Income
• Recent pay stubs of you and people ages 18 and older living with you.
o Monthly Pay: 1 Pay Stub
o Weekly Pay: 5 Pay Stubs
o Biweekly: 3 Pay Stubs
o Bimonthly: 3 Pay Stubs
• Recent evidence of receipt of the following benefits (if applicable):
o San Antonio Housing Authority Voucher Program
o Public Housing
o SNAP
o TANF
o WIOA
o WIC
o Medicaid
One of the criteria requirements is that your household income is less than 250% of federal poverty guidelines. (The table shows household/family size in coordination to the 250% income threshold.)
