INTRODUCING SOL PUNCHED TILES Wonder what SOL punched tiles are? This is a simple understanding about the punched tiles and how they are uniquely made.

Punched tiles actually are embossed tiles with a great precision to the depth of embossing, but it is not the usual method how other regular tiles are embossed. In fact, this is a very different technique.

The dyes and punches used for making these tiles are specially imported all the way from Spain, thus making these tiles simply out of the ordinary.

Punched tiles are laser-engraved, even for the minutest detail of the punched design on these tiles, which makes them uncommon and out of the ordinary. The tiles are punched, glazed and finally baked to the desired and unusual outcome, making them to look luxurious and modern.

White is a color with a lot of beautiful qualities but unique to itself compared to most of the lot. It’s a “space creator.” A feeling of endless and clean space is the basic depiction of its aura. A nice background for any color, a perfect combination for almost any background. White, as we know, is also the sign of boldness and simplicity together. It gives away an attitude of strong sense of neatness and clean approach to any space.

As a designer, white touches a lot of our senses, be it the clear and sheen look and feel of a small office or a living room, especially where white is trending or the large public spaces like the large art galleries of the metropolitans where exhibition is the prime concern and white is of a very large significance.

We did a couple of projects which had all white in it. The largest of it, an IT company called ZEPTECH SOLUTIONS at a corporate park, around 3800 sq. ft. of space, done all in white. All the workstations that were done were white powder coated steel structures filled with white back

Asking for a feedback, the dentist called me a magician and that his patients have now turned down calm during dental treatments. For a designer, an architectural or interior design project is like making an art piece in which one lives, so applying white in any form is similar to creating a 3D canvas on which the designer will play with ideas.

Basically, white provides a lot of options to a designer as a canvas to put things on compared to any other colour or hue. Hence, if a designer wants to fly in the sky of ideas then his first choice would be white.

From an engineering point of view, white reflects maximum light that most of us know very well of, so decorating the interiors with white will

make the space more light efficient.

Similarly, the application of white to the exteriors will make the building more heat efficient.

ABOUT THE COLOUR: Before describing white as a colour, there is a focus on colour schemes.

During the development of any project, a designer has 2 options regarding a colour scheme, either to go for analogous colour scheme or choose complementary colours.

Now, with both the above options, white is the best colour for the reason that in analogous colour scheme similar kind of shades are used in all materials. Thus, if we opt for any dark

hue or any other shade of hue after a few days these will create a negative atmosphere in a particular space whereas white instead will never create an effect of boredom but rather a positive aura always.

Similarly, with complementary colour scheme, any other colour or hue other than white provides very less complementary options whereas white is the only colour with an entire ocean of options for the scheme.
