Project Background
Mount Abu is a samll town in Sirohi district of Rajasthan sits under canopy of natural heritage of Aravli hill ranges. People admire the natural ecosystem of this region and find this town to be hotspot for weekend gateways. To preserve extensive human encroachment on natural heritages of this oldest ecosystem Indian government has listed this region in Eco Sensitive Zones of India. That means a lot of activities regarding urbanization are banned over here. To manage the researches over this forest, Indian Institute of Ecology has collaborated with Ministry of Environment and Forest to develop a research center in Mount Abu which could focus on ecological researches and can become an International Platform to showcase latest researches and developments in field of ecology.
Need of this project
1. To advance the cause of ecology in India 2. To encourage and promote ecological studies in the country and to integrate research in different fields of ecology 3. To cooperate with organizations with related aims and interests, and provide opportunities for communication among ecologists.

Desk and outside campus research using labs in campus but field is in forest or some other area. Research may go to field or conduct stationary research
Step 5: completion of research and a final presentation Finally a day research will be completed and research will present the research in front of international audience which will be invited for a presentation or further over dinner

The idea was to create a nature loving environment in offices and to make it more vibrant in sense of freshness and colors. The typical office layout doesn’t seem to form an interactive environment so I tried to incorporate arcs instead to linear design and plants a partition element.
