Flourishing Individuals
Tanglin Trust School aims to nurture and inspire every individual, ensuring they feel happy, valued, and successful in achieving their intellectual, spiritual, cultural, social, and physical goals.
To achieve this aim, we will:
1. Affirm and embed a whole school approach to promoting, protecting, and prioritising the wellbeing of children and young people
2. Continue to raise the profile of safeguarding by providing expertise, advice and an array of resources and training to better support our staff on safeguarding matters
3. Support our students more effectively by providing them with the skills to deal with issues, giving them a voice to share concerns and providing effective interactions when they need help
4. Continually analyse regular student wellbeing data to allow the school to track and monitor individuals as well as ensure early intervention for students who need it
5. Further develop the planning of our Lifeskills curriculum by analysing patterns and trends amongst different cohorts, which will help inform staff of pertinent issues in specific year groups
6. Continue to strengthen the Coordinated Wellbeing Services team (Counselling, Educational Psychologist, Health Centre and Family Support Liaison) so they can work directly with our students and young people to ensure that their social, emotional and physical needs are met
