Welcome Welcome to Tanglin Trust School Aquatics. Tanglin offers a range of Aquatic activities and sports. We work off a framework of facilitating high levels of explorative play at Infant level, through to performance-focused competitive sport at the Senior end. With our new world-class Aquatics facilities set to open in 2022, we can begin to roll out exciting new opportunities. This handbook will outline some of the potential of Aquatics in the next two years. Andy Hailey Aquatics Director

Framework Our framework is based on the Athletics Skills Model (ASM). We look to develop basic movement skills in the water, supported by an understanding of coordination, and nurture students’ growth throughout their Tanglin journey. We believe in a diversity of ways for children to express themselves in the aquatic environment and as such, students are given opportunities to try out different sports and activities on a variety of levels. Our aim is that students will find their way to a wide range of activities that will lead them to a lifelong participation in Aquatics and ensure they interact safely with water throughout their lives.
