Tanglin Lions Gymnastics had a great weekend of performances at the Pheonix Invitational Championships. For our girl's Level 4 'WAG' team it was their first competition of the season and a perfect way to test out the nerves with some fine individual performance. For our boys Level 2 'MAG' team, the 1st place Team Award was a highlight of the weekend.
Talented Athlete Support
Swimmers preparing for the Senior Singapore Nationals Championships next week will benefit from a focused session led by Nutrition and Dietetic specialist, Ellie Cheale,on Tuesday evening in the Tanglin Institute. The session will focus on nutrition for multi-day swimming events, helping swimmers prepare for and manage the workload of 5-7 days of competition. Seven of our Merlions are also preparing for the Australian Nationals Championships, in April, where they will compete against the best young Australian swimmers.
