ACSIS Golf Championships

TThe Tanglin Lions Golf team participated in the ACSIS Golf competition at Horizon Hills, Malaysia earlier this week. Notably, Tanglin boasted the largest squad present, and all players showcased exceptional performances despite the challenging hot and humid conditions on the course.

A special acknowledgment goes to Sebastian S (8Wy) for securing the gold and Jake D (11Cy) for claiming the third position in the Boys Division 1 competition. Additionally, Naomi M (9Cn) earned a commendable second place in the Girls Division 2 competition. In the team event, Tanglin Lions clinched the silver medal.

Congratulations to all the golfers for their outstanding efforts, and it was a delight to witness competitive golf played in the true spirit of the game.

Rugby Girls Workshop

Gaining insights from a sports icon! Tanglin Trust School had the privilege of welcoming Japanese legend Chiharu Nakamura for a coaching clinic during the ha;f term break.

The timing couldn't have been better, as we have witnessed a surge in interest, with over 45 girls signing up for rugby this term and inaugural fixtures on the horizon. We take immense pride in the dedication and determination shown by this group to kickstart this initiative. A truly special experience for our players!
