End of Year Sports Celebration
We were delighted to welcome students, parents and staff to our End of Year Sports Celebration for Upper School and Sixth Form students, which gave students a chance to share their own reflections on an exciting and action packed year of sport.
As well as recognising the achievements of our teams, there were Player of the Year awards for each sport, as well as a dedication to our graduating students. A special congratulations to Ryusei and Nina, who were awarded the Tanglin Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year awards.

Sportsman and Sportswoman 2024
‘My sporting journey at Tanglin began in Year 3, and I have thrived through the competitive sporting opportunities that Tanglin has provided.
The fact that Tanglin offers so many sports, helped me strive for those opportunities. Every season I tried new sports, made new friends and competed.
None of this would have been possible without my incredible teammates. I will cherish the sporting memories I have made at Tanglin and value the skills I have learned on and off the field for future endeavours.’

‘I am deeply grateful and honoured to receive the Sportswoman of the Year award.
This recognition acknowledges my journey from my early days of playing touch rugby at Tanglin, where I had the privilege of captaining the team this year through many tournaments, including our victories at SEASAC. It also reflects my pride in representing Singapore at the Asia Pacific Youth Touch Cup in 2023.
None of this would have been possible without the ongoing support of my coaches and teammates, whose guidance and encouragement have been crucial in my athletic development.
As I look ahead to representing Singapore in the Touch World Cup this year, I am committed to upholding the values of teamwork and perseverance that have been pivotal in this achievement.’

Dover and Tanglin Internatonal Climbing Fiesta
On April 20 and 27, 2024, respectively, the Dover International Climbing Fiesta (DICF) and Tanglin International Climbing Fiesta (TICF) made history as the inaugural Junior School Intra-School climbing competitions. Inspired by the International Schools' Climbing League (ISCL), these events brought together climbers from United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA) Dover and Tanglin Trust School (TTS) with the following objectives:
Introducing visiting climbers to the cutting-edge climbing facilities at the host campus.
Fostering interaction and camaraderie among fellow climbers.
Cultivating a healthy enthusiasm for sports climbing through friendly competition.
Both occasions were met with resounding success, with proud parents cheering on their children as they received well-deserved medals and prizes. We eagerly anticipate building upon this achievement by organizing future events that uphold values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and a shared love for climbing thl t
