ACSIS Season 3
The end of the ACSIS Season 3 draws us closer to the end of the competitive sporting calendar for this year. Season 3 has seen a huge number of Tanglin teams compete, with ten of those teams winning their respective leagues.
Success in badminton, basketball, cricket, football, netball, touch and athletics is a fine return, with those successes recorded in 10&U through to 19&U teams (table below).
A huge well done to all our students who represented the Tanglin Lions this season.
As we look ahead to the Junior FOBISIA Games, U13 FOBISIA Netball, large gymnastics and swimming events, it is rewarding to see the students and staff continuing to work hard right through to the end of term!

ACSIS Junior Track and Field
Well done to our Year 5 and Year 6 students who competed in ACSIS Athletics last weekend.
Tanglin students competed in various Track & Field events, against a number of International schools here in Singapore at Kallang stadium. The teams were up against some exceptional talent and came away with some outstanding individual and team results. A huge well done to all those that took part for challenging and pushing themselves to their limits.

ACSIS Junior Swimming
Last Saturday, we had a full team of 40 Merlions raced at the Junior School ACSIS swimming championships. We achieved plenty of personal best times and new racing experiences. It was a shame that the meet got cut off with 2 events left to go, but majority of them had at least 2 races in and coaches are really proud of the improvement made by these juniors.
We had a handful of TTS swimmers finishing first in their heats and it was heartwarming to see them celebrate with their fist in the air.
What the coaches observed was how great our swimmers were with marshalling and adhering to race whistle and race starter. The Race Prep implemented during our Juniors Merlions sessions (Weeks 4 and 8) have paid off.
In conclusion, Team TTS girls came in 4th overall and our boys in 6th. Coaches are proud of this team’s achievement and are excited to see what the future holds.

ACSIS Gymnastics
Our MAG and WAG competitive squads competed this past Sunday and Monday at ACSIS Gymnastics hosted by AIS at the Yard. It was a great competition for our athletes as they had the opportunity to compete against many other international schools in Singapore.
A notable achievement for us was that at every level we had the largest teams and the highest number of athletes competing compared to other schools, this just shows the growth of our program, and the opportunities our young athletes have.
This competition is focused on the lower levels and development squads, and we had some Year 3-5’s compete for the very first time, nerves and excitement were high!
Overall, we had a total of 50 athletes compete across 5 levels in both boys and girls. We were awarded 48 (top 3) medals across all levels and both boys and girls.
