Nexus Sprint Meet
Team Merlions officially kicked off the racing season last weekend with a team of 40 swimmers competing at the Nexus Sprint Festival. Despite it being early in the season, our swimmers achieved numerous personal bests and seemed to thoroughly enjoy the competition!
The coaches are incredibly proud of the team’s performances and are confident that Team Merlions is heading in the right direction for the season ahead.
Special Shoutouts:
Ryan (11 years old): Dominated the 11-12 age group category, securing 4 out of 4 individual Gold medals
Annie: Delivered outstanding performances with personal bests in all 4 of her individual events.
Casharell: As a new member of TTS Merlions, she impressed with 1 Gold, 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze medal in her individual events.
11-12 Mixed Freestyle Relay: Our relay team Kai, Sarah, Penelope, and Ryan emerged as champions!
With two more invitationals on the horizon, we’re excited to see what’s next for Team Merlions!
