Junior SEASAC Swimming

TTS Merlions from Year 6-10 had a successful trip to Bangkok over the weekend, competing at the Junior SEASAC Championships hosted by NIST.

The steaming-hot conditions didn’t slow our 18 team members down, winning 12 Gold, 3 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals across individual and relay events

Our girls excelled at the event with Nathalie (9Rb) winning 6 individual gold medals, Tilly (10Wx) with 2 golds, and Eloise (8Cy) and Natashsa (9Wn) also winning individual medals. These four swimmers combined with Mia (9Rb) to win all four relay events in the 14&U age category, and were rewarded by victory in the girls age division.

The girls team finished second in the combined age point score, with boys finishing in 9th place

ACSIS Junior Track and Field

We were immensely proud of the team that competed in the Junior ACSIS Athletics meet on Saturday 5 May. There was a wonderful team spirit amongst all children all gave 100% in their events, and this reflected in the impressive, overall standings. Boys and girls teams in both 10&U and 11&U categories medaled, with the 10&U Girls claiming the prize for overall winners

SPARK 3.0 - Climbing

It was a great two days of climbing with dozens of students from across the Junior and Senior school taking part in SPARK 3.0. The competition was a bouldering competition with students having 30 minutes to climb.

Each group had 8 routes to attempt as many times as they wanted with the climber who completed the most routes winning.

The routes were generally very tough, providing all our climbers with a lot of challenges. Among the many great results, our Youth C Boys came in first place. Well done to all our climbers.

Touch Singapore - Mixed Carnival

The U15 Mixed Touch team played in the TSG Mixed Youth Touch Tournament at the weekend. It was a challenging tournament, where the students came up against mainly University sides. However the team did rise to the occasion by beating the Dumplings 5-4 in a hard fought Final Congratulations to all players
