Entrances to built-up areas, boundaries of pedestrian zones as well as entrances to schools and retirement homes, or boundaries of event sites – road traffic bears many risks, in particular in built-up areas. Traffic calming measures like for example a turn in the road layout in most cases are costly and can rarely be implemented in the short term. Nissen FlexSign – flexible and versatile The FlexSign is a mobile warning system for almost any traffic situation. This solution is convenient for short-term utilisation and in all cases where the use of permanent systems is not possible or involves approval procedures that are too extensive. The design, manufactured of high-quality plastic,
attracts attention by its concise shield shape, can be firmly anchored and provided with individual adhesive labels. The FlexSign comes in two sizes and colours: yellow for speed control and white for other information signs. Further colours are available on request.
Significant traffic risks in built-up areas The number of traffic accidents is increasing. Common reasons for this development are an aggressive driving behaviour and the use of smartphones at the wheel. Due to the traffic density, the risk in built-up areas is especially high. Tried and tested in practice Warning systems such as the FlexSign are still relatively unknown in Germany, however, they have proven itself in other countries, like for example in Spain. The use of FlexSign is especially ideal for the purposes of speed limitation and hazard reduction at entrances to built-up areas.
