An exhibition of contemporary automata from the Cabaret Mechanical Theatre.The show offers the chance to press the buttons and bring to life machines including a man in a bath of spaghetti by Paul Spooner and Keith Newstead's 'Peacock'. East Dulwich Rail Station

The annual Thames Festival takes place between Westminster Bridge and Tower Bridge over the weekend, with an extensive programme of entertainment on and beside the Thames.

The route starts and finishes at The Mall, going past a number of historical London landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London and St Paul's Cathedral.

Join the 100s of people and see Team GB stars parade their bronze, silver and gold medals atop an open top double decker bus. The route will most likely take them from Mansion House to Buckingham Palace, via www.london2012.com/paralympics Trafalgar Square. For more information see posters or ask at reception! Saturday 22nd

Around 300 crews participate ranging from the serious sportsmen or women to sailors in fancy dress. The race starts at 10.30am at Millwall Riverside, Westferry Rd, E14. Traditionally, the route passes Tower Bridge, Westminster Bridge and ends at Ham House, Richmond.

A 7 km race around London's streets to raise funds for community projects that preserve endangered gorilla habitats. Registration is essential to take part (a gorilla suit is provided), but spectators can of course line the route which takes in Tower Bridge and the South Bank.

The 2012 special exhibition is 'Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration', which examines the many different ways in which diamonds have been used, re-cut or incorporated into new settings by British monarchs over the past 200 years.Students £14.50
