Now you will see information about the courses and locations where you can study this language. Browse this information until you have found the course and location you are most interested in. Learning for the future

Aim: For students to use the Internet to find out information about language courses. This worksheet is designed to lead on from the theme of the module, ‘learning for the future’. Time: 45 minutes Materials: Photocopies of the worksheet for each student. 1. Students decide which of the languages they would be interested in learning and put them in their order of preference. 2. Ask students to compare their order with a partner and then with the rest of the class. 3. Tell students they are going to find some information about language courses in different countries. Check that they have all found the webpage correctly and that they have found the list of languages on the left of the screen. 4. Students click on the language that they are most interested in studying. They can then browse the information about the course and the location. Monitor carefully and be available to help students with any difficult areas if necessary. When students have found a destination and a course that they are interested in, they take notes about the course and why it is of interest to them. 5. Students can compare notes with their partner and explain why they have chosen this particular course.
