Tell them if you have to work the next morning, so that they know when it is an appropriate time to leave. “Dedicate a special date night for your boyfriend”, says Angie. He is definitely going to miss you all of the time, since you’re always at school, at work, with your family, or with you friends. He will appreciate the fact that you save some special time
that is meant just for him. You two will look forward to it all week and you will have fun during it, since you know that you don’t have very much time spent together. To make sure that he doesn’t get bored, text him during the day, just to let him know that you are thinking about him. It will make him smile, and it will remind him that no matter how busy you are, your mind is still on him. No matter how busy you are, you will always have an hour or two to dedicate to your family, friends, and boyfriend. You want to make sure that you give each of them some of your free time, so that they don’t think you’re trying to find excuses to not see them. Angie is a full time student in college and works full time as server at a gelato cafe. With two huge dedications in her life, how did she possibly find time to have fun? Summer should be full of bonfires, slumber parties, shopping, and boys! It’s hard to believe that someone with such a busy summer was able to do all of that. As impossible as it sounds, she was able to do all of her work, and have a lot of fun! “You have to make the best of what you do”, says Angie. If you’re going to spend a good chunk of your time at school or at work, have fun while doing it! You’re surrounded by other students and co-workers, you might as well make some friends! Chances are, they are in the same busy boat as you are. In class, whenever it’s possible, do projects with a partner. Your partner can ease up your load and not only that, but you will become friends. When you’re at work, if you help your co-workers, they will, in return, help you as well. Make sure you don’t start to expect them to do everything for you, it may make them angry and they will decide to stop helping. Also, find some fun games that are acceptable for your work environment to keep your mind moving and have fun! You may find out things that you’ve never known from your fellow employees and you’ll also make friends! “Dedicate one special time of the week to your family”, Angie recommends. Your family will be understanding of your busy lifestyle, because they love you! They will want to still be a part of your life though, so show them that you care and find some time out of your busy schedule that is special time for them.
