wensboro’s boutique scene has blossomed the last few years. We like to keep our money where our hearts are: right here at home.
Shopping small is a big deal in many ways. Money spent at a local or family-owned
business recirculates in the Greater Owensboro economy and strengthens our entire community. With that in mind, the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce and Independence Bank unite to turn Small Business Saturday into an all-day shopping event called “Shop Owensboro” to highlight local businesses in a fun way. In 2020, Shop Owensboro expanded beyond the November event to include a summer edition in hopes of supporting local businesses during the pandemic. It was such a success that over 50 local businesses participated in the summer edition in 2021. Here’s a list of local favorites for fashion, novelties, gifts, home decor, and more!
