DEPRESSION COUNSELLING AND MUCH MORE We all have days when we feel down and sad. When we do not feel like talking to anybody and to be on our own. Some kind of sadness just draws in and we want to shut out the world behind us. When we feel empty and tears trickle down our eyes without any reason. When you feel so over whelmed with life that you do not know how to handle it anymore or how to set a balance that brings in the peace. And then the very next day, you are back to being normal. You are back to feeling usual and you are back to your routine life. But what if this sadness and void within you never fades away? What if you keep feeling sad and empty all the time as if this has no end? The above mentioned conditions if persist for long are symptoms of depression and an indication that you need depression help. In our fast paced lives today, we tend to neglect our health, both mental and physical. The stress from work or problems in personal life need to be tackled in a very sensitive yet skilful manner. Some issues can be solved at an individual level. But sometimes, when the battle within ourselves becomes too much for us to handle, it needs to be handles by a professional. There have been many cases in the past where the patients did not know that they needed help. The first step towards getting solution to your problems is acceptance. This therapy may not give us a rocksolid solution to the problems. But it definitely helps the family talk out and cope up with the on going issues. Some problems start at a very young age in life. Today, the vicious world has even engulfed children in mental problems. Your child might have his or her own set of issues going on in their lives too, which they don’t tell you about. Many a times, this unintentional neglection comes from parents, especially the working ones.
