Every state in India has at least 10 different crafts being produced in it. Craftsmen and their families work day and night to earn their living. However they are not paid as much as they deserve by the retail venders.

History of crafts in India: Tribes in India used to craft goods for daily use. Over time these goods started selling in the markets known as â&#x20AC;&#x153;Haatsâ&#x20AC;?.

From then till today, the crafts have developed. People that are below poverty line still have these crafts as a big part of their living. Process Women in the NGO sew and weave the roots extracted from vetiver together to make the final products. Sewing machines and hand sewing both are used in the process.
