When you are starting out you may need plenty of support and guidance. The Taos Education and Career Center (TECC) is there to help you get started in the real world. For some that means making sure you have your High School Equivalency. For others, that is support for dual language education.

UNM-Taos is the next step in a career journey that includes certifi cations for real-world skills and getting some core classes out of the way as quickly, easily, and as inexpensive as possible. The college credits you earn here will boost you through the rest of your education.

Many students want to pursue bachelor or master's degrees at UNM in Albuquerque or other four-year institutions. The credit hours you earn at UNM-Taos may transfer in many situations.

Staying longer on your education track leads to more experience, but also to more career potential and higher wages.
