Serving community is a critical component of a socially responsible institution but with School of Architecture and Built Environment, it is the bridge to connect the future professional to the people they are to serve in their years to come, for them to understand how built form morphing a lifestyle, changing perspective, improving living quality or simply touch a string of emotion and trigger the pure pleasure of beauty appreciation. When digital improve the productivity, compassion motivate creation, understanding make solution, humanity rules the world. Community work is more than just a charity, it is a path to take to encourage reintegration of design with a sense of responsibility to the users, community even the world. Only with this sense of responsibility is awakened, the balance could be strike between nature and built environment, creativity flourished as the urge comes from within.
