half-waking, half-dreaming:

“I saw myself in my dream the other night, it was weird. Like you know in Harry Potter when Harry and Hermione used the Time-Turner to go back in time to save Buckbeak, the bird, and they see themselves. This happened to me. I was in a game that I knew was dangerous and I could die easily but I didn’t seem to know this at this moment in the dream so felt calm. As I was walking up this dark eerie hill I saw myself and the group of people that I was with at that exact moment. They were doing the exact same movements as we just did. I remember thinking ah it’s like that time in Harry Potter… which means I cannot let myself see me and if I die at any point in this dream then I will have another life/chance which is good. Then I woke up.” -Anonymous Dreamer 1

‘In dream, in free association, in hypnotic states, in automatism, in ecstacy or delirium, the “pure creations of the mind” were able to erupt.’ -Jason Gaiger

“I dreamt I was in this really tall house with a stair case with lots of floors, it was like a familiar house possibly one where I lived or had visited before. There were a lot of people in this house. I remember being very confused in this dream as to who the people were and why they were all there. They were all chatting, like at a party or something… as people turned I kept thinking they were people I knew, grabbing them, then apologising once I realised they were not people I knew. I continued up the floors/stairs where I passed a person who looked like myself, who did not acknowledge me. I reached the top of the house and opened a door. As soon as I opened the door something (which I thought was my cat) flew at my face, this woke me up. But as soon as I woke up I felt cold like a huge gust of wind had blown on my face. It made me feel so so weird, quite disturbed, and strange… I had never seen myself in a dream before or woken up feeling like something had hit or blown at me in real life as well as the dream. For the whole day after this dream I felt so strange and couldn’t stop thinking about it all, almost like it was a real event.” - Anonymous Dreamer 2

“Then we were exploring around and I think after a while I got lost and was by myself. I could fly and so I kept on flying along past people, hovering above them in a parallel position, all the way back to the hostel where my friends were standing outside. I tried to subtly fly along side them so I would impress them. One of them said “What the actual fuck Tara…you can fly?” Not quite the reaction I was hoping for.”

#3 “I’ve had this re-occurring dream about this man breaking into our house who always looks the same each time. He always does the same route each time and so will I. He hides behind my mums and dad’s curtains in their room. I will see him then run away. It makes me feel strange and confused because I don’t know why I keep having this dream every two weeks. We have never been broken into before which makes it weirder.” -Anonymous Dreamer 3

“Back in kersey I’d asked poppy to come by and pick up my dress from the corner. Someone had a little tiny dog that I didn’t like and it started biting me really hard on my feet. I kept trying to fling it away but it just didn’t stop. So I tried to kill it.. and when I finally did it vanished and I thought I had lost it/just couldn’t see it. Before this the people in my dream were digging for something and found loads of bodies underground. I went to go look and it was clear that these skeletons were deeper under ground. I looked through the gap they’d made and saw two skeletons. This is when that small dog appeared again. It was trying to get to the Skeletons. I kept trying to fling him out. Then I saw Bridget in Malawi. But it was like I had never actually moved from that corner in kersey where I was meeting Poppy. The fields had turned into some tropical sandy bright beach with clear everywhere. water Bridget was there just stuffing her face with fresh fish. I asked if I could try and it was pretty damn peng.

Although she fed me a raw fish the second time.”
