The versatile formula of KOMPOZYT-EXPO® (seminars, conferences, technical presentations), adapted year on year to adjust to industry trends, has been recognised by the Ministry of Economy. Moreover, for its undoubted contribution to the promotion of Polish entrepreneurs in the international environment, our innovative event has also been distinguished by the Marshall’s Office of Małopolskie Voivodeship. These patrons confirm the growing importance of our Fair. The holiday season has started! But before you depart for your well-deserved vacation, take a look at the first issue of our Fair’s bulletin where we discuss the interesting topic of composite recycling, provide Exhibitor previews, present current information on our investment – EXPO Krakow, set out important organisational details concerning the Fair and much more.
Over the last decades we have witnessed enormous technological advancement of our region. Not only has Małopolska become a great place to live and spend your free time, but also to successfully run and develop a business. This is facilitated by considerable scientific potential, openness of business to innovation, presence of high technology sector, including specialisations of key importance for the region, such as – ICT, lifescience, sustainable energy and chemistry. To a considerable degree they set the directions for building the competitive advantage of Małopolska.

21-22 November 2013 – don’t forget to save these dates if you are a specialist working in the automotive, aviation, transportation, industrial chemistry, furniture-making or medical industry. The 4th edition of the Krakow KOMPOZYT-EXPO® Fair, considered a leading event in the composites sector in this part of Europe, will be taking place on exactly these days. The Fair’s participants are the largest and most important companies from the composites sector; enterprises that have a recognised, stable market position, as well as entities that have just commenced operations. Every year in November Kraków hosts businessmen from the Czech Republic, France, Germany and even countries as distant as Brazil or China, who want to establish the greatest number of valued business contacts and distribution channels possible.
I am very happy that our Region is the venue for the most important trade fairs in the Eastern Europe - KOMPOZYT-EXPO®. It is a perfect opportunity for worldwide presentation of the potential of the Małopolska chemical sector which for several years has been among the European leaders, due to its strong infrastructural and HR potential. It should be noted that the fairs help to make new contacts, find business partners and establish new distribution channels. It is also an opportunity to share experience and meet the best specialists, designers and engineers from various industry sectors. After all, the composite sector has tight links with other branches of technology, including medicine, construction or power generation, which also develop rapidly in Małopolska. I am sure that the participation in the fairs will create new opportunities and development perspectives for your enterprises and institutions. You are most welcome to join us.
