EXPO Krakow In 2014 the 12th International Wine Trade Fair in Krakow ENOEXPOŽ will be held in the International Exhibition and Convention Centre EXPO Krakow – a multifunctional trade fair and congress centre suited to the organisation of various events of the highest profile. This modern complex, with a surface area of 13,000 sq. m, comprises two halls of 5,000 and 4,000 sq.m, a number of air-conditioned, modular seminar rooms of various size, meeting rooms and a large lobby. The halls are open plan, without any dividing walls or supporting poles which allows for an optimal use of space. The floors, with a load bearing capacity of 40kPa, enable the presentation of heavy equipment, and the room height of 12 meters can accommodate various machine unloading techniques. A convenient location helps ensure unobstructed access by both public and private vehicles, to be serviced by more than 700 parking spaces. The property has excellent links with the railway station and the Balice Airport. The Expo Krakow will provide its clients with modern seminar and meeting facilities, ideal for product premieres, organised within the trade shows, or meetings with key clients.

Poland is one of the fastest growing markets for wine sales in Europe. Every year the import figures increase by about 24%. In the past three years the number of importers has doubled, and the number of wine stores increased by 400%. In fact Poland is becoming an important partner for foreign distributors and the International Wine Fair ENOEXPO® in Krakow, organised for 11 years, is the only meeting place for the wine industry in Poland. Traditionally, this trade fair is organised alongside the HORECA® 22nd International Trade Fair of Hotel and Catering Equipment and the GASTROFOOD® 13th Food and Drinks for Catering Trade Fair. ENOEXPO® provides a great opportunity to tease the taste buds of Polish consumers and find a distributor for your wine on the dynamically developing Polish market.

International fame ENOEXPO ®

ENOEXPO®, Poland’s only professional wine-related event, raises its international profile year on year. During last year’s fair Krakow hosted 142 producers, distributors and importers of wine from all over the world e.g. Austria, Armenia, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain and Ukraine. The last edition of the Fair was visited by over11000 of guests – catering professionals and wine lovers alike.

This is our first visit to the Krakow fair and I can certainly see the event has ambitions to get into the worldwide league. THE 6th WINEMAKING COMPETITION FOR THE ENOEXPO® 2014 MEDAL The aim of this competition is to select the best wines in specific categories, and award them with ENOEXPO® 2014 TRADE FAIR MEDALS.The competition can be entered by producers and importers of wine, independently of whether they exhibit at ENOEXPO® 2014 or not. Participants can enter the wines which are well known and available in Poland, and those that they are planning to introduce in the Polish market.

To enhance the effects of marketing and stand out among the competition, as well as attract potential clients, the organisers have also launched a winemaking competition which will accompany ENOEXPO®. The fact that the competition is held a month before the fair provides for additional advertising opportunities well in advance of the event. Winners will be presented with the competition medals during ENOEXPO®, and the awarded wines will be presented at the fair.
