Why Poland? Consumption of wine in Poland rises steadily each year what is very visible in the changes of the wine market – in 2017 its value increased for around 7% compared with 2016. Statistically, every Pole drinks around 6 litres of wine, which is still 10 times less than for example Frenchmen or Portuguese. Poland, with 38 million of citizens, is an attractive market for producers and distributors of wine, which can be proved by the fact that sales of wine rises a few percent every year. What’s more, the Polish market is far from saturation and Poles more often pick premium wines (growth up to 36% of all choices in last year).
KRAKOW Krakow is the second biggest city in Poland. It is visited by over 10 million tourists each year and for this reason it has a large accommodation and restaurant base. Krakow is strong economic area within Poland. What is more, high tourism and a large vibrant population mean that Krakow is an important market for the wine industry. Krakow has its International Airport, the second biggest in Poland.

ENOEXPO - International rank The 16th International Wine Trade Fair in Krakow ENOEXPO® is the most important and the biggest, fully professional event integrating wine industry in Poland. The Trade Fair is organised together with 26th International Trade Fair of Hotel and Catering Equipment HORECA ® and 17 th Food and Drinks for Catering Trade Fair GASTROFOOD®. This perfect combination brings possibility to present wines to Polish consumers from HoReCa sector and to find a distributor for this developing market. Every year ENOEXPO® becomes more popular both domestically and internationally. The10 th Winemaking Competition for ®
ENOEXPO 2018 MEDAL The aim of this competition is to select the best wines in specific categories and award them with ENOEXPO® 2018 TRADE FAIR MEDALS. The competition can be entered by both producers and importers of wine, independently of whether they exhibit at ENOEXPO® 2018 or not. Participants can enter wines which are already well known and avail¬able in Poland or those which they are planning to introduce to the Polish market. Your products will be evaluated by a jury of independent experts: experienced journalists and specialists in the wine industry.
Last Winemaking Competition for ENOEXPO® Medals presented wide spectrum of samples: ciders, Polish wines, meads and naturally international wines. The various selection was interesting and jury couldn’t get bored. I am very glad that class of Polish wines is becoming higher - recently we can really talk about them with great recognition. ENOEXPO WINE ACADEMY This is our accompanying programme to ENOEXPO® which puts together comprehensive tutorials and workshops on the industry.
