Bushrangers Basketball is Australia’s largest LGBTIQA+ basketball club. Our club’s big focus is inclusion, especially for our gender diverse and transgender pals. Hobart, Come Out & Play, will kick off our 2021 Tassie season with a bang and showcase our non-gendered mixed basketball rules in an exciting Bushie’s exhibition match at Moonah Stadium.

We love basketball but it can be a big binary bin-fire for some of us in the community. Our new mixed basketball rules mean everyone can ‘Come Out & Play’ irrespective of their sexuality, gender identity or sports ball skillz.

It’s not just a game, it’s a dance with a game going on in the middle. Throw some shapes on the sidelines to local DJ Mama de Leche and see first-hand why everyone wants to be a Bushranger! Half time won’t be a drag (ok maybe a fabulous one!) with a mystery half time performance.

Tickets are strictly limited and will go quickly to this free and super fun Tassie Pride event. Hobart, Come Out & Play is hosted in proud partnership with Glenorchy Basketball Association.
