WOOLWORTHS GROUP IS A PROUD TO SUPPORT TASPRIDE AGAIN IN 2021.

As an inclusive, team and customer first company, people are at the core of everything we do. We are working hard to create a welcoming, vibrant, respectful and inclusive environment for our LGBTQ+ team members and customers.

The Proud at Woolworths Group network consists of individuals who care deeply about inclusion, equality and belonging for all in the workplace. The network is very active and fosters a supportive workplace environment for our LGBTQ+ team members across Australia.

Since the establishment of the Proud at Woolworths Group network, Woolworths has continued to embed LGBTQ+ inclusion in the organisation. Network membership has grown from 50 team members in 2016 to over 2700 team members in 2021. Woolworths Group has played an active role in events such as Mardi Gras, Midsumma and Coastal Twist, and Wear it Purple Day is celebrated in all our brands across the country. In 2020 Woolworths Group achieved Gold Tier Employer status in the Australian Workplace Equality Index for the third year running, reflecting our continued commitment to creating an inclusive culture.
