The new STEM Building is more than just a space; it is a foundation for the future, where the seeds of innovation and leadership are planted. This facility will offer the environment and technology that support the mastery of STEM knowledge while fostering critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration essential for success in a rapidly evolving world. The new Center for STEM Excellence will offer an open concept with thematic floors, each dedicated to a specific STEM field, creating specialized environments that enrich learning and foster collaboration.
At TASIS, we are incredibly proud of our STEM program, which has fostered a passion for innovation and problem-solving, and led us to be recognized as a U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon School. This year, we are excited to host the Lego League Challenge Championship, a testament to the incredible creativity and teamwork our students demonstrate. Our students have also achieved outstanding results in math and programming competitions, earning the honor of representing Puerto Rico on the international stage. These accomplishments are just the beginning, as we continue to empower our students to explore, innovate, and lead in the world of STEM.

PREPARING GLOBAL CITIZENS
Students develop a strong sense of self, justice, and fairness. They learn to respect others and embrace diversity, becoming responsible citizens and productive members of an inclusive society.
At TASIS Dorado, we have developed a leading STEM program, recognized by peer institutions for excellence. This success is reflected in student achievements and faculty accolades across competitions and awards.
Notably, over 33% of our recent graduates were inspired and well-prepared to pursue further education and careers in STEM.
Highlights include our recognition as a U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon School, top performances in PRIML math competitions, and hosting the First Lego League Challenge Championship for Middle School Robotics.
With growing school-wide enrollment and increased interest in STEM, we need more space for current and future students to explore and delve deeper into unique STEM topics. This will enable us to better prepare TASIS Dorado students for the most challenging and prestigious university and career opportunities while further distinguishing our programs.
Reimagining our current STEM spaces and constructing a new dedicated STEM learning center will affirm TASIS Dorado’s place as the top independent school in Puerto Rico.

HOLISTIC CAMPUS DEVELOPMENT
Classroom Enhancements for Music & Fine Arts
The Music & Arts Center (MAC) will be integral to TASIS Dorado’s holistic campus development, establishing a dedicated and purpose-built space for music and arts education. This facility will house classrooms, performance areas, practice rooms, and storage spaces, creating a permanent home for our Music Program.
Incorporating all music and art spaces within the main campus will centralize the Elementary and Secondary Music programs in a Harmony Hub with soundproof spaces to optimize the learning environment.
The Art section will include three specialized ceramics, middle school and high school art classrooms, and a dedicated gallery to showcase student work. Through this investment, TASIS Dorado will provide an inspiring environment that fosters creativity and supports the artistic growth of our students, positioning the arts as an essential component of our comprehensive educational vision.
In the MAC, we are reaching for the stars—cultivating creativity, passion, and excellence in every student and inspiring them to dream big and let their talents shine.
