The Casa de la Juventud (House of Youth) is an organization that promotes the development of youth, promoting the implementation of public policies and targeted at young people, helping to improve the quality of life of these people through the implementation of specific programs, by creating opportunities and spaces of youth development. Oficina Provincial para el Desarrollo de la Mujer The Oficina Provincial para el Desarrollo de la Mujer (Provincial Office for the Development of Women), with the aim of tackling poverty and exclusion, has been pushing since 2006 a program of early childhood education aimed at the areas of greatest marginalization of the province Hermanas Mirabal, which has in the currently 17 Community Centers for Children. Community Centers for Children are social spaces where the child and the child from 0 to 5 years learn through play, guided or guided by educators of their same locations, integrating into the community.
