What’s So Great About TLW Membership?

The TLW is the largest and most powerful association of beer and liquor licensees in the country.

The TLW does not discriminate. Any business that is licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for either on- or off-premises consumption, located in any municipality within the state of Wisconsin, shall be entitled to membership in this corporation.

It is easy to join; simply visit tlwstore.org/newtlw-membership and complete the membership application. Click to the county map to find the cost of local dues. Print the application and mail a check, or pay by credit card over the secure site. That’s it — you’re a TLW member!

Once you’re welcomed into the TLW, it’s important to take full advantage of your membership for the sake of your business and your return on investment. As a bona fide member, you and your business are entitled to the following:

• Eligibility to participate in the Tavern

League’s affordable group health care plan.

This is available for members, their employees and employees’ family members. (See

Page 33 for more information.)

• Legislative support and updates on breaking legislative news that affects your business.

• Participation in the SafeRide Program, which the TLW developed to help eliminate drunk driving on Wisconsin’s roadways. As a Tavern

League member, you may offer the SafeRide

Program to your patrons. (See Page 40 for more information.) • Discounts on licensed food safety classes, which are approved and available yearround throughout the state. (See Page 35 for more information.)

• Discounts from affiliate members through our Members Exclusive Benefit Program. (See

• Cost savings through the TLW’s discounted online bartending training, Workers’ Compensation premium rebate program, low credit card processing rates and more!

• The power to participate in efforts to raise money for local charities. In 2019, the TLW contributed over $15 million to more than 12,000 charities throughout Wisconsin. (See

• A monthly newsletter that provides in-depth coverage on issues concerning our industry so you can stay informed on programs and events that benefit your business.

• A convenient way to learn best practices to stay ahead of the market with On Premise magazine, which promises to help keep you sharp, growing and at the leading edge of business.

• The ability to attend beneficial events, including the TLW’s Spring Conference & Trade

Show and Fall Convention & Trade Show, to connect with colleagues and suppliers that can take your business to the next level. Additionally, TLW trade shows provide unique networking opportunities for building strong business relations to keep your business innovative. (See
