Who should be Witnesses to the Will? ➔ Will should be attested by 2 or more witnesses ➔ Witness should have seen the testator sign/affix mark ➔ Must receive a personal acknowledgement of the testator’s signature ➔ Need not know contents of will ➔ Can Witness also be a Beneficiary? ◆ Yes,Can be as per Hindu Succession Law but advisable not to have.
