Request for Information OIA 2016-135 I refer to your request for information dated 14 December 2016, which was received by Greater Wellington Regional Council on 14 December 2016. You have requested the following information: “The same information requested in the 28 November 2016 request, but now held by the Council; and The documentation relied up (upon) for your comment that "CentrePort has in place extensive insurance cover for its Port and Property assets, as well as business interruption cover.” The information requested on 28 November 2016 being: Any communications (including electronic and records of oral communication) between the CentrePort and the Council regarding insurance and/or impairments of Port assets since the earthquake.” Greater Wellington Regional Council’s response follows. We hold no documentation that sets out CentrePort’s Insurance arrangements. CentrePort has verbally advised us that they have in place insurance coverage of up to $600 million for their port facilities and further extensive coverage for their Harbour Quays properties. We have no information from CentrePort in relation to the monetary impairments of their properties. Therefore your request is refused under section 17(g) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 as the information is not held by Greater Wellington Regional Council.
