ELECTION FUNDING DIVIDES COUNCIL A SECOND by-election within the space of three weeks has stirred a difference in opinion on Didcot Town Council with regard to the financial viability of having another vote. The current vacancy on the All Saints Ward will be decided by a by-election, after prospective Liberal Democrat candidate Andrew Jones gathered ten signatures to force another vote. Last month, Councillor Jane Murphy was told to leave the town council after failing to attend any meetings for six months, thus creating the empty seat.
