Antill assaulted the girl, who was aged from six to nine-years old at the time, at various locations in Wantage and Didcot. He was found guilty of all the charges against him on October 1 this year, following a seven-day trial in Oxford. Investigating officer DC Maria Morrisey, of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit, said: “I am delighted with the sentence imposed upon Antill, who is an extremely dangerous predatory offender. “Antill preyed on his vulnerable victim, who was only aged between six and nine at the time of the offences. “Further, he denied the allegations against him which forced his victim to relive these appalling and frightening experiences. “I would like to take this opportunity to praise the bravery of the victim for giving her evidence and allowing justice to prevail. “Antill will now be behind bars for a very long time.”
