Night of Worship April 2, 6 pm As we move towards Holy Week and reflect on the Passion of Christ, let’s join together to remember the cost that Jesus paid, and honor our Lord in Scripture and song. As we gather to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus, it’s a perfect time For where your treasure is, to invite someone who needs to hear the gospel, the “Good News!” Be there will your heart beoralso. praying now about inviting a neighbor, friend, co-worker who needs to Luke 12:34 know the hope and peace found in a relationship with Christ.

age five and under.
Dear Church Family, The Easter season really does speak to everyone. They just don’t know it. For the follower of Jesus, Easter speaks with a loud and glorious declaration that our hope is real and our relationship with God is secure because of the empty tomb. For those who are not followers of Jesus, Easter speaks to the hole inside their hearts that cannot be filled, the hurt that cannot be healed, and the hope on earth that is never, ever satisfied. They are longing – sometimes quietly, sometimes in not so quiet ways – for redemption, renewal, and forgiveness. But they don’t know where to find these things. But we do. It’s in Jesus and in the truths of the Easter season. In a national survey conducted by author Thom Rainer and his staff, eight out of ten unchurched men and women said they would come to church—if only someone would invite them. With Jesus’ eyes and heart for others, I’m asking you to consider doing something on their behalf. Simply invite one person or family to our Easter services. The Easter weekend will wrap up our sermon series, The Kingdom Cost, which begins April 2. This series follows Jesus all the way from the garden to the cross, and to the empty tomb. The weekend includes our Good Friday Service at 12 pm – always a meaningful time around the Lord’s Supper, and all Sunday morning services. So remember, this season really does speak to everyone. Let God use you to reach the hopeless and the lost with love and care just like Jesus did for you.

College REACH Trip Imagine you have ninety days to land in a new country, start learning the language, get medical insurance, and start to find a job. That’s the refugee experience Mike and Julie Lee gave our team. Just being in Clarkston, Georgia, felt like being on a foreign Reach Trip. It is the most diverse square mile in America. During the week we partnered with Friends of Refugees, ESL classes, a local church impacting refugees, after school programs, and World Relief. The nations and unreached people groups are coming to the states and this is a great opportunity for the church to influence hurting people for Christ. "Having such an international experience is strange when one has hardly left one's home state. Although the diversity of language and nationality was great, the need for community and English training was universal. Truly, God has created a unique opportunity to show the love of Christ to the foreigner in Clarkston, Georgia.”- Adam Fleming, Student

National Day of Prayer 2017 12 pm | Taylors FBC Chapel | Led by Dr. Jimmie Harley As citizens and residents of the United States and as believers in Christ Jesus, we not only have a spiritual responsibility according to 1 Timothy 2:1-2 to pray, but also a civic duty to heed our President’s call to stand in the gap for our nation. Scripture tells us again and again that our fervent prayer is effective. At this crucial time for our nation, we can do nothing more important than pray. Thank you in advance for making this spiritual discipline a personal priority!
