LET’S TALK MARRIAGE STUDY Communication is often the number one challenge faced by couples of all ages. Come explore habits that sabotage communication, use the Enneagram to learn more about your personality and communication style, and look at the biblical foundation for healthy communication that builds intimacy. Do you ever feel frustrated by how different you and your spouse are? Different personalities, different family backgrounds, different interests, just so different? And you’re really tired of unmet needs or unfilled expectations? You get caught in the same old discussions (or arguments) over and over, nothing gets resolved, and you’re just tired. We’ve been there. We get it because we lived it. Only after a marriage crisis did we begin to learn how to really communicate and how to love each other well. Now, after 38 years of marriage, we thank God for the people and the tools He gave us so we can say that marriage is a beautiful gift and the most fulfilling relationship on earth. Come journey with us through this 9 week course and take important steps toward a marriage filled with joy. —Ken and Kathy Dority 6:15 pm | Room B232-233 Let us know you are coming at www.taylorsfbc.org/married

REFUGE SPORTS: TRANSFORMING LIVES Can you imagine... Spending years with your whole family in a squalid camp in a strange country with barbed-wire fences and guards to make sure you can’t leave? Being forced to flee your country with only the clothes on your back because of persecution, violence and war? Watching your family members die, seeing your home and livelihood destroyed? Such is the story of many refugees who legally come to our country. While they are grateful for a new chance at life, they may also be overwhelmed by trauma, grief, and the drastic change in culture. The mission of Refuge Sports is to help refugee families adapt, thrive, and succeed in work, school, faith, and life! HOW CAN YOU HELP? Pray - for the families, for Mike and Julie Lee, Executive Directors, and for our dedicated group of volunteers Volunteer - there are many ways to get involved - For more information contact Mike Lee at refugesports@gmail.com Give - the needs are extensive and all donations to Refuge Sports are tax deductible – make checks payable to Refuge Sports, P.O.
