General Clothing Guidelines Wear appropriate clothing that is modest. Remember .... we are representing Christ, our church, our families and Urban Harvest Ministries. CLOTHING:

Urban Harvest Ministries has requested the following guidelines regarding what we wear while serving in Detroit: • Clothing conservative in nature • Shirts should cover the chest and shoulders with no questionable logos or language (NO tank tops, spaghetti straps, racer backs, etc.) • If shorts are worn, they must come to the top of the knee. No yoga pants or leggings. • •

SHOES:

Shorts may be worn on travel days and at Cedar Point. (regular 4 inch inseam length guideline)

Do not wear expensive or dangling jewelry (bracelets, necklaces, long earrings). Sunday Worship Attire: Trip Tshirt and jeans Wear tennis shoes or closed-toed shoes for all ministry events. (“What to Bring” on back)

What to Bring: $$ - Money for following meals (in route) 1 fast-food breakfast 2 lunches 1 dinner LUGGAGE:

1 large bag and 1 carry on

OTHER ITEMS: Bible & Pen Toiletries Shower Shoes/Flip flops Sunscreen Reusable Water Bottle Swimsuit – the hotel does have a pool. Modest one-piece or tankini for girls. Guys – no Speedos. Beach towel (if you plan to swim)

Cell phones will be allowed on this trip. HOWEVER, students will not be allowed to use phones at ministry sites. Adult leaders will have their phones at all times. Prescribed medications and over-the-counter medications should be placed in a ziploc bag, labeled with detailed directions, and given to Julie Gentry, RN. It is very important for the well-being of all our students that our trip nurse is informed of ALL medications and medical conditions. Snacks to share: Be considerate of our team members who have nut allergies and steer clear of those items.
