The Eido Woman journal guide to intrinsic awareness is my gift to myself and every woman as a result of the blessings God has given me through the use of female vessels. Within these pages, you would find practical tools, vulnerable stories, interviews with women I admire, most photos I have captured and some I have not, some of my work with my brand Eido Swimwear, and most importantly, thoughts from a conscious space. Nothing you would find within these pages is written with intent to form rigid ideologies, we are very fluid here and you are welcome to interpret through your own lenses. Please enjoy, pass it on, share with a friend, and keep living circumspectly.

1 It Begins With An Encounter (THE AWAKENING)
Navigating a personal path to heightened awareness is not a one size fits all journey, but we must acklowledge the existence of guiding principles that are universal. Knowledge of self is always initiated by a figure outside of ourselves, for example; family, schools, religious institutions, media. All of these platforms help shape the layers of what we come to know to be self, however, as we begin to mature many of us start to seek and find our own authentic voices. As we journey on, we must understand that what we seek also seeks us. This will help us immerse ourselves in this lifelong process of discovery, and we are better able to identify these answers I call 'encounters' when they come around. Encounters don't only come in the form of people that guide us on a path, sometimes it is the thoughts and the opening up of our understanding as we connect with something we read or hear. That resonance when something hits home or hits our soul, that's an encounter. It is important that I point out that these encounters have very little to do with who we are in the flesh, but who we are internally. Many people believe that the human body and the spirit are two separate entities but the spiritual soul is the very life of every human, the body seizes to live without a spirit. This understanding will open us up to an experience that takes us deeper into heightened knowledge of self. The spirit is embedded within every human and becomes the principle of life that the whole human being lives by. The soul of the human is deeply rooted in the spirit of the human and receives its existence from it with respect to its interaction with the physical world. Simply put, The soul is a chain of experience making its way through the universe with respect to time, the very essence that takes the form of the human it dwells in. For instance, if you were born and raised in Kenya, the chain of experience that has formed into a 'you', will not be the same chain of experience if you were born in Thailand. Your soul therefore is the expression of your will, emotions, intellect, with respect to your bodily experience within your universe. At every level of being, irrespective of the soul experience, the spirit is present and we tap into heightened levels of awareness through consciousness. We strengthen the unconscious by acknowledging and activating several levels of being through enlightenment. Remember that enlightenment comes as encounters either through people who guide us, written words of wisdom, or thoughts that resonate with us. Keep seeking and you will find, for what you seek also seeks you. "Keep seeking and you will find, for what you seek also seeks you."

2 Knowledge Is Power (Knowledge To Power)
The greatest weapon anyone can have is the ability to be aware of their thoughts - being aware where they come from, being aware where they flow to. You may have encountered this idea of thoughts being things in the past as I have many times. Every thought is like an entity, having its own form according to the character that the thinker gives it, and is capable of expressing itself. A thought is a mental vibration or impulse having it's own identity. If thoughts are entities experienced from within, they must have come from somewhere, a previous experience, a present experience, there has to be a meeting together of an internal-external occurence or the imagination of it based on a frame of reference. The Power of this knowledge here is that if each thought has an identity, we can control them in the same way that we can control and shift physical things around. Our lives go where our thoughts go, and if we can control our thoughts, we can take back our power and be the best versions of ourselves at every point. We must understand that thought is controlled by the right use of affirmation and denial or rejection, because the mind has the power to accept and reject. This is how we can control our thoughts, and essentially our thought patterns. There is a system to achieving mastery in this area and it really lies in being able to satisfy the logic of the mind through audible affirmation. This is the reason I am big believer in the power of meditation and positive affirmation. After the death of my Grandfather and hitting a downward spiral in 2009, I found this secret within biblical scripture and it has since changed my life; "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." - Phillipians 4: 8-9 KJV With the right thoughts, we form empowering mindsets, and with empowering mindsets, we can be and do anything great without limits.

Chapter 3
Choose Joy

3 Choose Joy Many times, we ďŹ nd ourselves void of the awareness that joy is present and within us here and now. Joy is state of the human spirit, it is not derived from external factors. The quickest way to becoming aware of the joy within is choosing to be present. The idea that we cannot experience joy until something external allows us to is false and dwells in the realm of the mind. This intensity and persistence of negative emotions and thoughts that belcloud us when we ďŹ nd ourselves living in the past and future in a way that makes us anxious is detrimental to optimal functioning, and it is real the thief of joy. It is fascinating to me everytime I think about how we can think about the future and bring to our experience a reaction that has not even yet occurred. This is because the unconscious mind does not differentiate that our imaginations haven't translated into present time, and as spirit beings, we already project ourselves into that future subconsciously. The key to choosing joy everytime is to practice being present in that joy. Do not dwell on the destination, enjoy the ride.

Affirmations For Eternity

4 Affirmations For Eternity Eternity belongs to those who can be present here and now. Very often, we must nudge ourselves back to a glorious present reality by affirming the right thoughts audibly so we can can hear them and respond. Repeat the words below to yourself with undivided attention. • I am designed for greatness • My greatness supersedes these times • I possess value that the world needs • My value attracts its monetary component • My sacrifice attracts a harvest of beautiful things • I will be diligent, and I will commit to every step that will cause me to improve • I go beyond my physical capacity because the one in me is greater than the one people see. • I am a person of substance • I am greatly loved • I have peace within • I am aware that I am steps closer to my goals • I can solve problems • I am not in the dark when it comes to finding solutions • My gifts are harnessed and they make me highly sought after • I LACK NOTHING! • My time is now • I allow myself surrender to all that God has for me in this season • My Soul is vibrant • I have healthy relationships • I give out of an overflowing river from within me • I rise out of every pit that has attempted to swallow me up • I live in great health • I recognize the abundance all around me • My eyes see great things • I choose to listen to what lifts me up • I speak wisdom • I speak health • I speak good of others • My day is blessed • I am a blessing to my world • I receive all of the ideas I need for my next level • I have an endless stream of potential • I am full • I am whole • I am awakened to possibilities • I receive courage for the leaps I need to take "Eternity belongs to • I will not be disadvantaged those who can be • I will give to the world what it deserves from me present here and now." • I help others, I seek the good of others Tayo Ishola

5 The Eido Woman Prayer Tip Prayer is engaging intimately in a divine spiritual phenomenon, with the understanding that there is an active engagement with God (the creator, a higher power, the universe) to effect changes within ourselves and also within the physical realm.
Tips For a Healthy and Effective Prayer Life: • Acknowlege that prayer is a privilege and gift • Acknowledge you are stepping into unfamiliar territory • Acknowledge you need guidance to tread this path • Acknowledge you need to be led • Acknowledge the presence of the divine • Be humble in your approach • Be present, refuse distractions • Be grateful • Be prepared to let go • Be prepared to be heard • Do not hide, be honest and authentic • Expect a change, expect a shift • Always end with gratefulness Sometimes, the best of prayers occur in a moment of stillness, where the heart speaks louder than words. CASSANDRÉ JOSEPH EIDO WOMAN OF THE MONTH Cassandre Joseph was the very first Eido Swimwear customer. We had just met pre-launch in 2015, she bought mul�ple pieces of swimwear and immediately stamped an invisible seal on my heart, like a new birth experience of some sort. Since then, she would take several swim & resort wear pieces from us around the world while pursuing her own dreams but I am most grateful for the moments she has allowed herself be vulnerable with me and honest about her new-mom experience with baby 'Vi�oria'. We met up six weeks a�er she gave birth to her baby girl and I was stunned because she did not look any different than she did before the pregnancy. She said to me "this journey is different for everyone, it did not start easy but I am steadily embracing it and enjoying every bit of it. I found peace when I realized I did not have to do it according to a rule book because my baby is not every baby, my baby is my baby." Born and raised in Cayes, Hai�, Cassandre Joseph wears many hats, with 'mother' being the most recent. She is a fashion editorial and runway model, a healthcare provider, and Miss Hai� interna�onal (2016).In 2016, she par�cipated in the Miss World Hai� Pageant and won 3rd place, then pursued the crown for Miss Hai� Interna�onal. In October 2016 she represented Hai� in Japan at the Miss Interna�onal pageant. She was appointed as a Visit Japan Tourism Ambassador by the commissioner of Japanese tourism and later became an ambassador for Panasonic Beauty. A few days later, Cassandre was called to represent Hai� in China at the Miss Tourism Queen of the year pageant. Being a new-mom is not about to stop Cassandré's goals as she aspires to work and travel the world with baby Vi�oria. With the heart of the ul�mate Eido Woman, Cassandré loves to help those who do not have a voice to speak for themselves. She volunteers as a mentor at Kingdom Kids in Hai�, and she is an ambassador for Shashamane Sunrise, an organiza�on that Cassandre Joseph and supports children’s educa�on in developing countries.
