A Year of Adventures with Mom
Chapter 1: My Wonderful Mom
Hi, I’m Morgan, and I’m 9 years old! I’m going into 4th grade, and I love to dance, draw, swim, and play with my friends. But you know what’s even more fun? Spending time with my mom, Samantha McGrath. My mom is the funniest, most loving, and caring person I know. She always makes sure I have something fun to do, especially when I’m bored.
Chapter 2: The Colours of our World
My mom’s favourite colour is purple, and mine is pink. We love these colours so much and would like to have more of them in our room. Every time I see something pink, it makes me think of how much I love my mom.
Chapter 3: Summer Fun
In the summer, we have the best adventures. We go swimming at the pool across the street, where we splash around and laugh so much. I like to go to the park and mom likes to come with me. When she sees me having no one to play with, she calls my friend’s mom to see if they can come, and while we wait, she plays with me. It makes the day extra special.
Chapter 4: Cottage Adventures
One of the best parts of summer is going to the cottage. At the cottage, we swim in the lake, go for boat rides, and have the best time ever.
My favourite activity is roasting marshmallows with mom. Sometimes we accidentally burn our marshmallows or catch them on fire, but that just makes it more fun and memorable. It’s a sweet memory I will always cherish.
Chapter 5: Hugs and Love
Mom gives the best hugs in the world. Every hug from her makes me feel safe, loved, and happy. Whether I’m having a great day or feeling a little down, mom’s hugs are always there to make everything better.

Mom takes me everywhere, and we always have the best time. Whether it’s a trip to the store, a visit to the park, or just a walk, every moment with mom is special. She always has something fun planned, making sure I’m never bored. Her creativity and love make every day an adventure.

I love to dance! I used to be in ballet, but now I do hip hop. Every June, we have a dance recital, and my mom just loves coming to watch me on stage. Seeing her smile and cheer for me makes me feel so proud and happy. Dancing is one of my favourite things to do, and sharing it with my mom makes it even more special.
